Specifically, the app has new Content Transfer tools. Among them are ‘SharedContentPhotos,’ ‘ContentTransferCopyPaste’, and ‘ContentTransferDragDrop’. These references are located in the latest Insider version of Your Phone. The feature means Cross Device Copy and Paste is now available in the app. Of course, this is an Insider release so is not yet available on the full app. One of the benefits of the Content Transfer is that you can more easily start work on your smartphone and continue on Windows 10. It is unclear when the tool will launch on the full Your Phone experience.

App Development

Your Phone allows Android users to sync their smartphone to Windows 10. Last month, Microsoft brought an important feature to the tool. Now, all Android users have the ability to make calls through Your Phone on their Windows 10 PC. Microsoft has been testing the feature in recent months and rolled it out in December. As the feature suggests, Your Phone users can now make calls on their PC. Furthermore, they can also view contacts and see call history on their Windows 10 machine. Additionally, it’s possible to divert a call back to the Android smartphone if you are moving away from the PC. Back in October, Your Phone became the number one ranked application on the Google Play Store. “#1 App on Google Play!!! Woohooo!! Thank you all. I never thought we would see Link to “Windows” top on Android,” said Microsoft PM of mobile Vishnu Nath on Twitter.
